Yes….we may have the best production kit and facilities in town (as used by the BBC, don’t you know!) but it’s not all about the equipment…….it’s about the people.

Highly skilled people, who work hard, have fresh, fun ideas and who like to get creative, and with VPoint.TV that’s exactly what you get! So take a look at our profiles and if you’d like to get to know us even better why not get in touch!

Ian Sterling - DirectorIan Sterling - Director
After giving up a life of glamour travelling the world with rock stars as a sound engineer, Ian founded VPoint.TV in 1987. So what is it Ian does at VPoint.TV? Well an easier question would be what doesn’t Ian do!

Ian is a hands-on kind of boss who’s involved in every aspect of the company and it’s this commitment and dedication that has led to our success. As well as being a highly skilled Directing Cameraman, Ian knows how to get the best out of people in front of the camera, through a combination of gentle cajoling and diplomacy.

As a true petrol head, when Ian isn’t at the race track burning rubber he can be found spending quality time at home with his drum kit and guitar (complete with fluffy tiger print guitar strap). His favourite quiet reading involves a copy of Auto Italia and his nickname at school was Biggs.

Sally Reynolds - Senior Writer and Producer Sally Reynolds – Senior Writer & Producer
Sally is as they say, a bit of a drama queen…..she studied drama, is a skilled writer and has been known to direct a pantomime or three in her time. She has a wide range of skills having built up many years of experience in producing creative live events and films for television and the business sector.

Sally is great at getting to the bottom of what clients want to say and devising clever ways to communicate their key messages. She can also turn anyone into a media savvy diva with her presentation skills training.

Outside of work Sally can be found spending quality time with her kids, salsa dancing and enjoying the odd glass of white wine.

Rebecca Lawson - ProducerRebecca Lawson - Producer
Not scared to go the extra mile, Rebecca has had a walk on part in practically everything we’ve done, was filmed running off a 2000ft mountain (she did have a parachute!) and even retook her driving test on camera. So whatever your filming needs….Rebecca’s your girl!

She doesn’t just pose in films……..far from it! Rebecca will be a familiar face throughout the entire creation of your film, handling all aspects of pre-production, filming and post-production supervision.

In her spare time, Rebecca can be found with her parrot on her shoulder, figure skating and practicing yoga…..though not all at the same time!

Danny Franklin - Cameraman & EditorDanny Franklin - Cameraman & Editor
Multitalented Danny is a whiz at camera work as well as being very handy in our edit suites. With five years experience of filming and editing films for Business, Television and the web under his belt.....Danny is guaranteed to deliver!

A bit football crazy, a bit football mad, when he's not slaving away over your edit Danny can be found watching the footie on TV, supporting his beloved Leicester City at their home ground or playing football for his local five aside team.

Michael Lomon - Post Production Designer & EditorMick Walker - Camera Operator & Post Produciton Designer
Having graduated from Nottingham Trent University with a degree in Fine Art, Michael
has subsequently worked as an animator, editor and motion graphics artist on a number of award winning films and independent shorts. He has a keen eye for graphics and is used to dealing with the technical aspects of video output from DVD
to the Web.

When not making things fly across screens, Michael spends his time illustrating, making music (though the term 'music' should be used loosely) and generally making a creative nuisance of himself.

Theresa Guest – Office Manager & Production Co-Ordinator Theresa Guest – Office Manager & Production Co-Ordinator
Theresa is one of those very, very organised people, who can answer the phone, whilst punching numbers into a calculator so fast that her hands are a blur. Based at VPoint.TV’s studio, Theresa controls the day-to-day running of the business’s admin and financial side. Reminiscent of a drill sergeant Theresa manages the projects in a highly organised way assisting the producers in delivering to the highest of standards.

Theresa amazes us with her shopping antics. In one weekend she’ll have been out and bought a cooker, a dresser, a bike and a tortoise. We thought Theresa had won the lottery or gone mad until we realised the items were of the doll’s house sized variety. When she’s not tinkering with miniature tortoises, Theresa can be found zooming over to France in her beloved caravan or having a gin and slimline tonic at her local.
