Arts Council projects change the lives of the artists who receive funding to support their unique talent, as well
as the lives of people in communities enriched by artistic ventures. This film explores the reach of the
Arts Council in the East Midlands through a series of short, individually styled vignettes.

The brief was to devise an idea to advocate the work of the Arts Council. It had to be a truly inclusive project,
ensuring that all art forms were represented throughout the five counties of the region. Areas of social deprivation
and broad ethnic mix were to be included, as well as people of all ages with varying abilities and disabilities.

This double DVD became award winning in 2006 when it won Best Corporate
Non Broadcast Programme at The Royal Television Society Awards.
