Project: Celebrity Branded Content Videos

Brief: Produce a set of branded content videos for the Hillarys website, including a main video and a series of shorts for social media.

Background

As part of a branded content campaign, Hillarys has joined forces with a cohort of designers, interior stylists, vloggers and TV personalities to share expert advice, tips & tricks and style ideas with their customers.

Hillarys teamed up with interior designer Abigail Ahern and asked us to create a range of videos. We were asked to share her signature look and present Abigail’s design top tips on how Hillarys customers can use dark colours in their homes, subtly adding Hillarys products into the mix

Approach

We spent a day filming on location at Abigail’s amazing home in London.

An in-depth interview with Abigail revealed what constitutes her signature look; and how she achieves her distinctive design look – from painting floor to ceiling in dark colours, playing around with different surfaces and textures, and experimenting with scale.

Access to the home of a design icon is not an opportunity to pass up, and our director made sure that we captured the essence of Abigail’s look with some gorgeous shots.

Outcomes

We produced an interesting and gorgeous main branded content marketing video, with Abigail’s interview at the centre, accompanied by lovely visuals. In the short social media videos, Abigail shares her ideas direct to camera, supported by pretty shots of accessories, plants and, of course, Hillarys window dressings.
