International (China) Promotional Video

Brief: Produce a video to promote Nottingham Trent University School of Art & Design to prospective Chinese students.


For many UK universities, Chinese undergraduates are the biggest single international market, with over 450,000 young people heading for universities abroad.

With this fierce competition in mind, NTU commissioned us to create a Chinese student recruitment video to promote their prestigious Art school to the Chinese market.


After some joint research with the International Development Office, we developed a creative approach to hit the key selling points of the UK, Nottingham, NTU and the Art school for this youthful demographic.

Wanting the promo to have authenticity, it stars two real Chinese art students from the School. We showcase Graduate Fashion Week, Brick Lane, Big Ben and the National Portrait Gallery in London, as well as Wollaton Hall, the Robin Hood statue, and of course, the School itself in Nottingham.


The video was produced in both English and Mandarin, and is being shown on (the Chinese version of YouTube)
